Water Services Corporation
Water Services Corporation (WSC) is the only utility company on the Maltese Islands, supplying water to a population of approximately 450,000 people. WSC owns three reverse osmosis plants, with a fourth one being built and expected to be commissioned in 2020, various underground boreholes, reservoirs and a whole distribution network. Furthermore, a fully accredited laboratory, and a team of multi-skilled operators support the operation function to ensure a cost-effective operation of continuous water supply, which quality conform to the drinking water directive.

Pablo's recent work at the helm of the communications department at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the European Union, in Brussels, has given him an insight into how to operate within a European framework and deal with the daily pressure of queries, requests and lobbying that the delicate task of Presidency of the Council of the European Union entails. Mr. Micallef worked for a number of years within the Vocational Education industry.
