Innovation Water Program European Water Tech Week

From 23 to 26 September, the Water campus Leeuwarden, WETSUS and CIV Water are organizing the annual European Water Tech Week. Join us for a groundbreaking event at the forefront of water technology innovation! This three-day congress (including the annual Wetsus Congress) will blend science and business in a number of plenary and parallel sessions. Engage with experts, scientists, and entrepreneurs as they share insights, strategies, and success stories, driving the water sector towards a sustainable and resilient future.

The European Water Tech Week is an excellent opportunity to meet and network with the over 600 participants from the water sector from all over Europe. Furthermore, this year, there is special focus on skills and VET with a day dedicated to Accelerating Talent, Technology, and International Business.

Besides the program of the EWTW, we would like to gather with the PoVE Water partners to work on the continuation of the PoVE Water after the project period. Through the Water4all program, we have the opportunity to secure additional funding from 2026 onwards, by joining this program with the PoVE Water project and work on an improvement agenda for the water sector. In order to do this, we will have to apply by spring 2025. Therefore we would like to use a day during the EWTW to prepare this application and create a roadmap together with the partners.  This day will also allow us to prepare for the upcoming Erasmus calls this fall, which would allow us to create spin off projects, including new partners to the PoVE Water or the regional CoVEs.
