Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology
The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) was established in 2001 “to provide universally accessible vocational and professional education and training with an international dimension, responsive to the needs of the individual and the economy.” MCAST is the main provider of vocational qualifications with over 10,000 students and 640 academics and corporate personnel and 6 Institutes namely Agribusiness, Applied Sciences, Arts and Design, Business & Commerce, Community Services, Information and Communication Technology, and Engineering and Transport. The Institute of Applied Sciences offers over 20 programs that include water-related themes such as the Higher Diploma in Environment and Water Technology, the B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and the M.Sc. in Integrated Water Resource Management.

Director - Institute of Applied Sciences at MCAST
Paula is presently the Director of the Institute of Applied Sciences within MCAST, a position she has held since January 2019. Prior to this she worked in the Water Services Corporation for 22 years as a laboratory scientist and later as the Executive Director.
