MCAST has put together a lovely magazine which aims a spotlight at activities in their school. Issue 65 includes two articles that discuss PoVE Water activities.

"MCAST Students Shine at the International Project Week in the Netherlands"
On page 67 you can read about how students from Malta, Latvia, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands worked together for two weeks. They followed lectures at Van Hall Larenstein, University of Applied Sciences then set up their own laboratory scale wastewater treatment plant with computerised programing to treat wastewater to legal specifications!
The students went on additional excursions with unique opportunities to learn about the theory and practical aspects of water purification in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.

"MCAST Students Participate in Water Management Hackathon"
MCAST students from various studies took part in a Hackathon with the theme "Connecting the Drops - Circular Water Management for Urban Greening".
Over a day and a half students joined interactive workshops and participated in multidisciplinary teams working on the practical challenge to integrate rainwater harvesting and greywater reuse for urban greening. They pitched their ideas to a panel of judges.
