The 34th EfVET Annual Conference: “A Learning Platform for VET: Wellbeing in a Digitalised World : Crafting the Future of VET 2035” – offered a profound reflection on how we can shape education systems that are not only technologically advanced but also deeply human -centered. The growing integration of artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and remote work arrangements needs a re-evaluation of how well-being is embedded within work-based learning models and working conditions.
During the EfVET roundtable discussions, EfVET had the opportunity to present the PoVE Water project teams had the opportunity to disseminate progress, results, and products of project outcomes and sustainability Pilot PoVE Water Scale-up is a transnational project that draws on existing and emerging vocational competences and skills needs in the water sector. The goal was to introduce EfVET participants into the subject of the project: Centres of Vocational Excellence and virtual Platform.
Key discussions recognised the value of water sectors while addressing challenges like
Positive feedback emphasized the need to overcome these challenges for broader implementation across Europe. As well the new networking opportunities discussions on future collaborations in water relationships in different countries.
The presentation sparked a truly lively and enriching converation, higlighting the growing importance of innovative, learner centered approaches in VET water ecosystems and the future of water management.
It was an interactive roundtable discussion on integrating vocational education with industry for innovation offered valuable insights from teachers, principals and stakeholders.
The EfVET Conference was a unique space for meaningful exchanges of good practices, visionary ideas and shape future collaboration
