The water situation in the Netherlands

2025 ended under the sun of Malta ☀️ for the PoVE Water project 💧

Our Maltese partner MCAST  organised an Autumn School on water with more than 20 students 🎓 from the Czech Republic, France, Latvia and the Netherlands.

They learned how Malta manages its water resources 💦, and also presented the water situation in their own countries 🌍.

Between visits to a water treatment plant 🚰, we asked Finn from Aeres VMBO & MBO Leeuwarden and Jorn, Miel and Noortje from Yuverta about the water situation in the Netherlands.

The main challenge facing their country? Keeping people’s feet dry! 🌧️👢
